Registration* - When you register to become a member of BeWell.com, we collect your email address, and password, Becoming a member allows you to personalize tools and content that is not available to you without joining the site. These features include: building your own profile; creating, joining, and participating in group and online discussions; rating and reviewing articles; creating your own personalized library of favorite articles (recipes, videos, etc.); writing and managing your personal blog and video-blog.
Your Profile – After you register to become a member of BeWell.com you will have the opportunity to create your own personal profile. Your profile will allow you to provide additional personal information that is not required for registration, for example: your interests, activities, favorite books, and personal story. You can change or update your profile information, including your privacy preferences at any time. You can always decline to refuse cookies in your browser, although some features or services may not function properly as a result.
Polls and Surveys – On BeWell.com there are tools, surveys, polls, and community features that may ask you for additional information, including, but not limited to your contact information, demographic information, personal health information, interests, etc. We use information from polls and surveys to better understand the needs of our users and to gather information about health trends and issues. Questions and answers are stored, but they are not linked to identifying information about you and will not be shared with third parties.
