I’ve had a lot of fun starting solid foods with my little one this year. She’s responded very well to healthy whole foods like sweet potato, acorn squash, broccoli, avocado, eggs, salmon and coconut oil. I stick to a mostly whole foods diet, but when I’m buying something packaged, I have a few very easy rules for reading food labels. These are so simple that you can even teach them to kids:

If you are dealing with constipation, you should start with the basics: eat a whole foods diet, avoid processed foods, and drink lots of water. Often doing a Cleanse and taking a good probiotic is helpful.
