Chai Tea Latte
 
Ingredients
  • 2 organic Chai Spice black tea bags
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¾ cup organic unsweetened nut milk of your choosing
  • Cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)
  • Organic liquid stevia or raw honey (optional)*
Instructions
  1. In a small pot, heat water on stove until boiling.
  2. Place tea bags into a mug. Pour boiling water over tea bags and cover mug with a cup, letting tea bags steep 3-5 minutes.
  3. While tea is steeping, return pot to stovetop. Pour nut milk into pot and warm on low heat. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and/or sweetener if desired.
  4. Remove tea bags. Pour nutmilk into mug and stir before serving.
  5. *Using sweetener is always a matter of personal preference, but you'll likely find you don't need to use it in this recipe. The spices of chai tea, plus the cinnamon nutmeg, make this already naturally sweet. Try it without sweetener first - you can always add it in if you wish!
