The Alchemist’s Kitchen

Zachary Clancy is a resident herbalist and the CBD ambassador for The Alchemist’s kitchen, where he hosts monthly CBD clinics. Most broadly, he is a Brooklyn-based horticulturist, herbalist, and educator and has spent the last 5 years working on sustainability initiatives in NYC, building and managing urban farms in all five boroughs, and designing and administering horticultural education programs in collaboration with CUNY, HELPUSA, NYCHA, and DOE, and RecultivateNY.

With degrees in Psychology and Biology, Zachary’s overall approach to herbalism is firmly grounded in the science of plant based medicines. In addition to this, he has been heavily influenced by herbal apprenticeships under renowned Great Plains herbalist Ocoee Miller and Appalachian herbalist Joe Hollis who both emphasized the importance of working directly with plants in order to grow one’s own medicine.

Dr. Jason Fung

Dr. Jason Fung is a Canadian nephrologist. He’s a world-leading expert on intermittent fasting and low carb, especially for treating people with type 2 diabetes. He has written three best-selling health books and he co-founded the Intensive Dietary Management program.

Dr. Fung graduated from the University of Toronto and completed his residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. He lives and works in Toronto, Canada.

Tricia Williams

Tricia Williams is an accomplished executive chef, nutrition educator and chef instructor. The culinary nutritionist founded Food Matters NYC in 2008 so that she could share her passion for fresh, whole, locally grown, organic, sustainable and delicious food.

Over the last 15 years, Williams has left her mark on highly regarded Manhattan restaurants including The City Bakery, Home Restaurant, Isla and Olives, to name a few. William’s passion for culinary nutrition surfaced after she gave birth to her first child. LevineSteven M. Levine, MD is an aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon in New York City specializing in cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. After 7 years of training in plastic surgery at New York University, Dr. Levine started joined his mentor, Dr. Daniel C. Baker, in practice. Stephen Cowan MD is a board-certified pediatrician with over 30 years of clinical experience working with children.
