We often want to make changes in our lives, but just aren’t sure how to do it. Over the years, I’ve learned that what works for one person may not work for another. Finding a way to make important, lasting changes requires a certain degree of trial and error. One thing I think is universal is that any change begins with awareness—we have to be aware of what’s not working in our lives. Secondly, I think we’re more likely to make lasting changes when we make it simple. I’ve been guilty in the past of taking on too much too quickly. I set myself up for failure and frustration. Smaller changes, however, that come from a more pure, clear mindset, seem more likely to work in the long-term.
