I love this TED Talk by John Lloyd taking us on an animated tour of the invisible….gravity….the stars in day…thoughts….the human genome….time….atoms and on and on. So much of what really matters in the world is impossible to see. This talk will make you question what you actually know.

There is no turning back time. The images below of three sisters hit me like a ton of bricks. The old saying goes that a picture is worth a thousand words, but truthfully, these photographs leave me at the keyboard wondering what to even type as a first sentence. So I’ve looked these three images over dozens of times and I’m still working on wrangling the emotions that come flooding in when I glance at them individually and then as a whole. Powerful, powerful stuff.
Have you ever stopped long enough to really reflect on your relationship to time and what effect it has on your life? How does your time management impact your daily stress level? The fast pace of today’s American lifestyle is a well-known fact, as is the profound effect nonstop hurrying has on your health. Think about the way you go through your daily activities. Do you allot plenty of time to get them all done? Do you do them with ease and enjoy what you are doing? OR do you rush with clenched jaw and fists throughout the day, mono-focused on your to do list, totally stressed, fearing there is not enough time?
It's time to give thanks for all the various currencies in your "pocket." You've got money, time, food and love. Take stock of the currencies that flow through you every day. Did you know you are the master of them all? Did you know how you think and feel and how resolved you are about past incidents has everything to do with how masterful you feel about these currencies? I say we all start designing our relationships to time, money, food and love with a new gusto. Consider my suggestions on each area below.
