Vitamin D3 assists with bone health, as it helps regulate the body’s calcium levels. In addition, vitamin D helps to support a proper immune response in the body. Vitamin K1 and K2 are also in our blend since increasing the amount of vitamin D via supplementation without vitamin K can increase the risk of calcium deposits in the arteries. Vitamin K helps direct the movement of calcium into bones and teeth for optimal strength, so it's important to take these two together.
D3 is critical for immune function, balanced energy and bone health, and is combined with K1 and K2 to maximize absorption.
- Supports healthy bones
- Strengthens immune system

Frequently Asked Questions
What number of IUs should I be taking?
Vitamin D is actually a crucial hormone, not a vitamin! The two most reliable sources of vitamin D are the sun and supplements, as only 10% comes from diet. It's best to get your blood work done at least once a year so you can first assess your current levels with your doctor. The number of IUs you should take varies depending on a number of factors, including your current Vitamin D level, environment, exposure to the sun, age, weight, etc. Generally speaking, we recommend that those with levels above 45ng/ml take our 2,000 IUs of D3 1-2 times per day for maintenance, and for 35-45 ng/ml, take 5,000 IUs of D3 once per day and recheck your levels after 3 months with your doctor. If less than 35 ng/ml, opt for 10,000 IUs of Vitamin D3/day and redo your blood work after 3 months. Once you've gotten back into ideal range, which for optimal health is 50-80 ng/ml, you can decrease to 2,000-4,000 IUs/day.***Note: Make sure to do this under a doctor's supervision so you can adjust the IUs according to your individual needs! Vitamin D is critical for many functions of the body, so even if you're in the lower range but not deficient, it's important to supplement. D3 is also the ideal form for proper absorption and bioavailability, rather than D2. Last but not least, be sure to take your Vitamin D with healthy fat since it's a fat soluble hormone.
